Implant Treatment

An implant is a screw inserted into the jawbone, on which a dental prosthesis is attached. During the procedure, neighboring teeth are not damaged, and no grinding is necessary. The implanted screw acts as a tooth root. After the treatment is completed, one can chew and speak just as with a natural tooth.

In our clinics, experienced implant specialists can perform preliminary assessments using oral images and X-rays sent by patients. This procedure can be applied to any patient over 18 years of age who has completed jaw and facial growth. Before the procedure, the patient's suitability is evaluated, which is why X-rays are initially taken.

The treatment plan is established during the direct examination of the patients. In our clinic, we use certified implants, and treatment begins promptly with high-quality materials.

Some advantages of implants include:
• They can be used for missing teeth in the upper and lower jaw.
• They are suitable for areas where teeth have been missing for a long time.
• They are an effective method for patients with no remaining lower jaw teeth.
• They help preserve dental health.
• No issues arise when eating food.
• They do not damage neighboring teeth.
• They provide an aesthetic and beautiful smile.

All-On-4/6 Implant Technique
One of the most common implant methods in Turkey is the All-on-Six treatment, where six implants are inserted into the jaw. It is usually applied to edentulous (toothless) patients. Four or six implants are placed at specific angles.
What brands of implants does our clinic use in Turkey?

Your implant is likely to last a lifetime. Therefore, high-quality implants are beneficial in the long term. Our doctors only use selected brands that have been clinically tested for years. Examples include Straumann and Nobel, which are among the best on the market. We also offer other implants that have proven their quality based on our experience. During the treatment plan, we will present you with various options.
Bone Grafting (Bone Augmentation)

Bone grafting, also known as bone augmentation, can be derived in various ways. It can be of animal, human, or synthetic origin and is manufactured in block form or as fine particles.

Bone augmentation is especially applied in the following dental issues:
• When the jawbone is insufficient for an implant.
• When it should be done simultaneously with a tooth extraction.
• To increase the sinus floor before implantation.
• In cases of chronic inflammation.
• In cases of bone loss due to long-term oral issues.

Bone grafting is a treatment method to maintain bone volume. When bone volume is insufficient, bio-compatible materials are used to promote bone growth. After tooth extractions, bone grafting is particularly applied to maintain volume and achieve the desired volume for implants.
Dental Treatments Under General Anesthesia
In dentistry, general anesthesia is applied in certain cases. Simple dental treatments typically use local anesthesia, but for complex and major surgeries, general anesthesia is preferred. A medication is administered intravenously, and after the medication wears off, the patient wakes up shortly. About 30 minutes later, the patient can return home.

Who is given general anesthesia?
• Children who cannot cooperate.
• People with dental anxiety.
• For larger surgical procedures.
• For allergies to local anesthetics.
• When local anesthesia is insufficient.
• Individuals with anxiety and intense pain during treatment.
• General anesthesia and sedation can be used for dental operations as well as for all medical procedures.

Dental Phobia
A focus of our practice is the treatment of patients with fear of dental treatments or even dental phobia. We know that no one is born as an anxious patient. The main cause of fear is often negative, traumatic experiences from the past that have not been resolved. No one should be afraid of medically necessary treatments at the dentist. Everyone should feel comfortable and willing to seek treatment. For this reason, the processes in our practice are different from those in other clinics, as dentistry requires more than just technical skills. We are dedicated to supporting patients on their journey to overcome their fear.

First, I was very well informed; I received detailed information about all stages of the treatment. The hospital where I stayed was extremely comfortable, which made the whole process easier for me. My nurse helped and supported me with everything. My doctor was a truly wonderful person; he explained everything to me patiently and made sure I felt very comfortable. This entire experience helped me feel safe and secure.

I had a hair transplant done at SCHÖNHEITSCHECK, and I am extremely satisfied with the entire process. My treatment took place about six months ago, and the care during that time was truly excellent. The organization was perfect. However, the most important thing is that my hair is now growing! It makes me very happy to see the change when I look in the mirror. Thank you very much, SCHÖNHEITSCHECK, for this wonderful experience!

SCHÖNHEITSCHECK brought me to Turkey for my upper and lower eyelid surgery. In Germany, I met with the advisor from SCHÖNHEITSCHECK, and during our conversation, everything was explained in detail, so there were no unanswered questions. The treatment process in Istanbul went exactly as described, and everything ran smoothly. Now, when I look in the mirror, I am happy; no one notices that I had surgery, which is very pleasant for me! I want to thank SCHÖNHEITSCHECK for their support throughout this entire process.
